My Story
Hi, I’m Tom.
After spending most of my career as a professional rugby player in New Zealand and Japan, I’ve shifted my focus to yoga and coaching, dedicated to helping others find peace, joy, and a life free from suffering.
As a professional athlete, I relied on mental toughness to overcome any doubts that surfaced. For years, I powered through, but my battles weren’t just on the field; they were with the persistent fears inside my own mind. After a series of concussions, I became entangled in a cycle of fear and uncertainty, constantly questioning if my symptoms were real or imagined. This inner struggle began to take over my life, intensifying after a series of personal losses and culminating in a moment of overwhelming darkness. It felt like I’d reached rock bottom.
I found my pathway out of my lowest point through the realisation that I’d been at the mercy of my thoughts. I began exploring meditation, yoga, and journaling, and I discovered that my suffering stemmed from my identification to those thoughts—especially those focused on the past or future. By learning to live in the present moment, I found peace. The more I practised, the lighter and freer I became.
Today, my heart is dedicated to sharing this journey with others. Through coaching, I help others move past fear, embrace the present, and experience the peace and joy that come from a life unburdened by relentless self-doubt. This is my mission, and I’m here to help you find your path to inner peace and freedom.
